"The problem is we are not eating food anymore. We are eating food-like products."
~Dr. Junger, Hungry For A Change film
After looking into countless options for a nutrition plan, I couldn't find the right one for me. I wasn't prepared to dish out an extra $300+ a month on top of my monthly grocery spending for a few small meals, unnecessary powders, or processed protein bars. I wanted to eat natural, healthy foods on my own budget and on my own time.
I believe that everyone has the ability to find a personalized nutrition plan through education, trail-and-error, and exploring their local grocery stores. The OGF recipes provide you with healthier options that use every-day ingredients found in your kitchen or easily at the store. Discover meals like Thai Turkey Lettuce Wraps or Black Bean Protein Patties, and sweet treats like Banana Cookie Thins and Key Lime Ice Cream. Vegetarian options and information on vitamins and supplements are also available.
My mission is to help the OGF members grow their bodies organically; not just by eating organic food per-say, but by shaping ones body and mind naturally, safely, and fundamentally. Each recipe is created, tested, and tweaked by the team at Organic Growth Fitness, with nutrition facts calculated through MyFitnessPal*.

"Although eating well is necessary for a positive lifestyle, I don't believe that eating clean 100% of the time is ultimately the best for our health. I believe that donuts, ice cream, and cupcakes are good for the soul. They bring me, and many other people, happiness. While many claim that the key is moderation, that can be an extremely difficult method to follow. This is coming from someone who used to regularly consume an entire family-size bag of cheese puffs and call it dinner.
I deal with moderation today by allowing myself 1-2 'unhealthy' meals per week, which may be something as small as a brownie, or a large Italian meal full of pasta, meats, and lots of cheese. This eating style allows me to enjoy the pleasures and cultures of life. When I spend energy on a 'poor' meal, I'll try my best to make up for it the next day by eating light or by enjoying some liquid meals such as smoothies or blended soups.
So go ahead and indulge occasionally, and try to keep the following quotes in mind when you're ready to jump back on the clean-eating wagon."
